Re: Kill Team - 40K
Grey knights = daemon hunters = malleus, well that's my thinking anyway but that works well, gives a natural enemy for Karls daemons.
All I need now is an eldar player and Jamie to get his Thousand Sons out to counter the 13th company

Re: Kill Team - 40K
Does it have to be craftworld eldar Neil? I can do either Craftworld or Dark Eldar Kill teams, I was thinking for Dark eldar it could be some sort of sneaky assasination squad.
Bit confused though what rules are being used, is it the basic kill team oens from battle missions?

Re: Kill Team - 40K
I have been trailing differing armies points for this and so far I have found 250 seems to be a good number it allows good selections with good kill zone abilities added so I am up for 250 pt limit! 200 is to low and 300 gives to many options in wargear and choice

Re: Kill Team - 40K
But maybe 200 forces you into making hard choices, I like having to choose between things at the list building stage, it makes the games more of a challenge.

Re: Kill Team - 40K
Yeah but no but 200 points for me as necrons works ok but for space marines and chaos sm you are going to be seriously under powered 250 gives more balance to the teams 300 - 350 gives you your expansion points at a later stage. 200 points for elder nids and crons is a doddle but we do need to consider our brothers in power armour, no mater how much you hate them

Re: Kill Team - 40K
The 200pts is hard to deal with, but that's part of the fun of this game. I suggest we leave it at 200, not because I already have an army list done but because it levels things for everyone. Yes, some units will be smaller but those tend to be the likes of Space Marines who can take it and dish it out too.

Re: Kill Team - 40K
Ok guys I will go with the masses, the general consensus seems to be 200 points, so we can start with it and see how it goes, if it needs changed we will change points value in due course. The only marine players are me and jamie, we can take the heat justin!
Remember there are also upgrades in the Killzone rules PDF that you can spend your points on! some of which are pretty damn cool
graeme thats you added, and sisters will fit in nicely to inquisitor's task force.
And just to confirm guys we are going to run with Killzone rules and missions pack, these rules will form the crux of what this campaign is, and missions will run in tandem with Killzone mission pack but tailored to this narrative.

and please keep the suggestions and idea's coming, this is for everyone at arkham
